Ship description With a length of 55 meters, the Wapen fan Fryslân is the largest two-masted schooner in the Netherlands. Originally built in 1965 as a cargo ship, she mainly sailed the waters of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. In 2003, a comprehensive refit of the ship began, transforming it into an elegant sailing passenger ship. Today, the ship offers its guests numerous leisure options and creates an atmosphere that seduces with a touch of luxurious comfort. The Wapen fan Fryslân regularly sails the Wadden Sea Tour. From the spacious wheelhouse you enter a cozy and stylish bar with a comfortable lounge. The panoramic windows offer breathtaking views of the water. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. On the aft deck there is an outdoor café with a beer tap and a hot tub, while the middle deck offers various seating areas perfect for enjoying an al fresco meal and admiring the beautiful scenery while sailing. Interior Cabins On the lower deck, the Wapen fan Fryslân offers 12 identical twin cabins (8.5 m² / 91 sq. ft.), each furnished with two separate single beds that can be joined together, as well as a fold-out bed that can serve as a third bed if required. Each cabin is equipped with its own bathroom, featuring a shower, toilet, and washbasin. All cabins have ventilation, central heating, and two portholes, one of which can be opened. Additionally, a mini safe is provided in each cabin.
